S&W to Host Roundtable at the CRF Loyola VIII Symposium in Orange County
Founding partner Curtis Wright from Silver & Wright LLP will attend the Loyola VIII Symposium hosted by the California Receivers Forum on January 23-24 at the Renaissance Newport Beach Hotel.
The conference’s theme, Connect to a Changing Economic Future, encourages the keynote and breakout speakers to discuss topics such as federal equity receiverships, cannabis in receiverships, neutrality of a post-judgment receiver, and health and safety in the California Housing Crisis.
The keynote speakers will be Dr. Chris Thornberg, founder of Beacon Economics, and Zack A. Clement, founding partner of Zack A. Clement PLLC.
Silver & Wright is a gold sponsor of CRF, will participate as an exhibitor at the conference, and will host a Roundtable discussing the Protection of Stakeholders in Ponzi Scheme and Nuisance Property Receiverships. The Roundtable will be presented by Partner Curtis Wright and Court Receiver Carl Petta.
Silver & Wright chooses to support and sponsor various organizations, including CRF, to offer their unique insight and approaches to solving problems as well as show their commitment to the profession.
“At S&W, we choose to spend our time and resources on organizations and associations that positively contribute to the local community and work to change their profession for the betterment of society,” said Curtis. “We are excited to attend because CRF hosts informative, engaging, and challenging symposiums. We expect this one will prepare us and the other industry professionals to take on the year ahead, and I look forward to giving back by speaking at the Roundtable.”
The California Receivers Forum, a nonprofit organization formed by receivers, attorneys, accountants, real estate brokers, and property managers, addresses the needs and concerns of receivers, facilitates communication between the receivership community and the courts, and assists in raising the level of professionalism of receivers throughout the state.
