Astrid Song
Law Clerk
Astrid Song is a law student at Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law, expecting to graduate in May 2026. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Anhui University of Architecture in China. Ms. Song obtained her Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Southern California. She transferred from Syracuse Law School in 2024 and completed her first summer internship at the Monroe County Public Defender’s Office in upstate New York. During her time at Chapman, Astrid has held externships with both the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and the Orange County Public Defender’s Office, gaining hands-on court experience.
Astrid served in the U.S. Army at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, before attending law school. She is fluent in Mandarin and interested in languages and cultures from around the world. When she is not engaged in the law, she enjoys outdoor sports and petting dogs in the neighborhood.
