Nicolas Jaber
Court receiver & Attorney
Nicolas Jaber is an Attorney at Serviam by Wright LLP. A municipal litigator, Nic focuses in civil rights defense and civil and criminal code enforcement. Nic also oversees all Serviam receivership appointments.
Nic received a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley, and J.D. from the Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law. Between his graduation from Berkeley and commencement of law school, Nic completed the Russell Amos Kirk Residential Fellowship, worked in the oil and gas industry with Gas Land, Inc., and served as Managing Partner of Back Bay Dev. LLC, an application design, development, and promotion studio.
While in law school, Nic served on the Moot Court Board, was elected President of the Federalist Society, and interned with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and the City of Corona City Attorney’s Office. While studying at Berkeley, Nic engaged in the fields of Arabic language, Middle Eastern affairs, and Computer Science. Applying his interests in classical thought, foreign policy, and finance, Nic co-founded the Burke Society, a literary and philosophical colloquium, lived and studied in Amman, Jordan, and served as an Analyst with Capital Investments at Berkeley.
Outside of academia, Nic has held positions across the non-profit, finance, technology, and oil and gas sectors. Selected as the single K-12 designate to serve on the California School Boards Association Legislative Committee, Nic critically considered public education-related legislation in Sacramento, advocating on behalf of California students. Elected to the Board of Directors of Sister Cities International, a global non-profit founded by President Eisenhower, Nic served on the Finance and Development Committees. Nic also worked for Karl Rove as a research assistant in Washington, D.C., contributing to his latest book, The Triumph of William McKinley (Simon & Schuster), and ventured into the financial services industry as a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst with Harvey & Company, a merchant bank and buy-side advisory firm.
As a member of the legal profession, Nic aspires to defend those enduring truths and standards of order which T.S. Eliot coined “the Permanent Things.”
