Karla Michel
Paralegal
Karla Michel is a paralegal at Serviam by Wright LLP. Ms. Michel has broad experience across civil litigation, immigration, family law, and labor compliance. At Serviam, she works closely with the attorneys in both defense and prosecution departments, to find the most effective solutions for our clients. Karla helps to coordinate depositions, summarize transcripts, manage court filings and service of process.
Ms. Michel earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Philosophy from the University of California, Irvine, and later completed her Paralegal Certificate at UC Irvine.
Her legal career includes time at a highly regarded, national defense firm, where she assisted with construction defect, general liability defense matters, preparing discovery, translating Spanish-language materials, and managing case filings. Karla also worked with in juvenile and custody cases, and with general counsel, where she focused on H-2A visa program.
Ms. Michel’s diverse legal background and attention to detail make her an invaluable resource to our attorneys and clients, as well as a valued member of the Serviam team.
Outside of work, Karla enjoys reading, drawing, playing guitar, and running.
