Kari Probst
Senior Of Counsel Attorney
Kari Probst is a senior of counsel attorney at Serviam by Wright, LLP. She has over 25 years of experience as a civil litigator and has successfully litigated a wide variety of matters from pre-litigation through trial, including complex cases and multi-party, non-class action cases. Her experience includes public entity defense, nuisance, dangerous condition, constitutional law including inverse condemnation, false arrest, unlawful detention and imprisonment, use of force, premises liability, construction, landlord tenant, auto liability, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, subrogation fire and water loss, discrimination in employment and housing, and other matters.
Ms. Probst is admitted to practice law in California’s State and Federal Courts, including the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and United States District Courts, Central, Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts. Ms. Probst enjoys the law and defending her clients with integrity, professionalism and efficiency. She offers a breadth of experience and understanding of claims, defenses, alternative dispute resolution, and trial. In her time away from her desk, she enjoys time with her family, good food, exercise, and athletics.
Ms. Probst received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of California Irvine, School of Social Ecology, in Pre-law–Criminology, Law, and Society. She completed her law degree in less than two years at Southwestern University School of Law in downtown Los Angeles, the SCALE Program -Southwestern’s Conceptual Approach to Legal Education. Ms. Probst was a Who’s Who in American Law Students during her two years and an Intramural Moot Court Brief Writer Finalist. Ms. Probst had the good fortune of being in law school in the 1990s, including having professors who were Los Angeles District Attorney team members. In addition, Ms. Probst worked as a secretary and law clerk in law offices, including a priceless clerkship with the Orange County County Counsel’s Office, Probate and Mental Health Conservatorship Departments.
