Skylar Kutnyak
Paralegal
Skylar Kutnyak is a paralegal at Serviam by Wright LLP. Mrs. Kutnyak comes to Serviam with knowledge in the field of litigation. Skylar has a strong background in client correspondence, discovery workup, and all phases of trial preparation. Mrs. Kutnyak works closely with the attorneys in both defense and prosecution departments, to find the most effective solutions for our clients. Skylar helps to coordinate depositions, summarize transcripts, manage court filings and service of process.
Mrs. Kutnyak earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She later received her Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies, and an ABA approved Paralegal Certificate from Coastline Community College.
Her legal career includes experience at a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm, where she supported attorneys in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, and other personal injury matters. Through these responsibilities, she developed a strong understanding of civil litigation procedures, gained practical knowledge of case strategy from a plaintiff’s perspective, and sharpened her ability to analyze medical records, conduct investigation on defense, and communicate with clients throughout the progression of their case.
Ms. Kutnyak’s interpersonal skills, time management in fast-paced environments, and attention to detail make her an invaluable resource to our attorneys and clients, as well as a valued member of the Serviam team.
Outside of work, Skylar enjoys hanging out with family and friends, sunset walks by the beach, and going to the gym.
