On December 4th, one of the firm’s partners, Curtis Wright, and his two boys made their way to Huntington Beach, where The Priority Center’s Families Helping Families Holiday Toy Drive was held and dropped off a special delivery for a local family of five.
With three girls ages eight months, three, and 17 and one 15-year-old boy – all raised by a single mother during an economically challenging time, Serviam by Wright LLP did not hesitate to pick up the call to adopt another family this year.
“To assist with necessities and alleviate some of the monetary holiday stresses, our firm purchased four Target gift cards for the mother, along with dozens of items on each of the children’s Christmas wish lists. I’m proud of our firm for coming together again and doing our part in elevating the lives and Christmas spirit for those in our community.”

Some items on the children’s wish list that were purchased by the firm’s staff include shoes, jeans, dresses, t-shirts, electric educational activity devices, a toddler mini saucer, makeup, a soccer ball, and a convertible sofa to lounger chairs, and more.
In addition to the donation, the Serviam Cares Team was on-site volunteering with the organization, assisting with the collection, sorting, and wrapping of the gifts.
“Coordinating this effort with the firm has brought my colleagues and I so much joy. Every year we look forward to adopting a family in need and fulfilling their Christmas wish list. This initiative proves that when we all come together, we can make a greater impact and improve the quality of life, specifically for mothers and children, with the support of The Priority Center.”
PARALEGAL JOY LONG
According to The Priority Center, whose goal is to end generational cycles of trauma – with the help of Serviam by Wright LLP and other organizations, last year we helped bring holiday cheer to nearly 300 children and families; and the organization hopes to see that number grow in the years to come.
